Mr Smith came to us with his wife, Mrs Smith a few years ago. Apart from being a little hen pecked (Mrs Smith was a very possessive wife!) he also had an eye infection that had forced his eye closed. We bathed it and tended it, but unfortunately it didn't seem to get any better, so the Vet decided it would be best to take his eye out. The photograph, left, is of him after his operation.
A while ago he and Mrs Smith went to live with good friends of ours who provided him with a beautiful run in their garden. Mrs Smith, sadly, passed away just before Christmas, so we donated two of Snowball's daughters (Mr Smith is neutered) to keep him company and he's a very happy bunny still. The fact he only has one eye doesn't sem to worry him in the slightest!
